Travis Underwood has always had a passion for working with his four-legged friends. He first started riding his childhood friend’s horses while growing up and progressed his riding whenever the opportunity presented itself. The time came that Herman the Mule needed a home, finding his way to Travis and the rest is history.
Travis and his wife now have four rescued equines: two Mustangs, Herman the Mule and an Arab that had been locked in a stall for 8 years. All have presented unique training challenges and are progressing nicely. In 2015 Travis and his wife attended a Justin Dunn Horsemanship clinic and Travis immediately signed up for an intensive school.
After receiving a certification with Justin Dunn Horsemanship, Travis has continued to mentor under and assist Justin with clinics, events and mission to help people and their horses connect. Travis has extensive experience rehabilitating rescued German Shepherds. This has translated into his philosophies in the horse and human connection.
