The Southeast Pennsylvania Search and Rescue (SEPASAR) of Wyncote, Pennsylvania. SEPASAR’s primary mission is to search for, locate, and extricate lost persons in the undeveloped or agricultural areas, Originally composed of mounted searchers only, we now include ground personnel for support and active search and EMS functions.

As part of the recognition of the hard and compassionate work done by SEPASAR (http://www.sepasar.net/); the sponsors of A Home for Every Horse presented the rescue with some horse-care gifts to take back to the rescue. Including; a new WeatherBeeta blanket and twenty-four tubes of Zoetis Strongid paste. With the continued support of A Home for Every Horse’s sponsors; Tractor Supply CO, Zoetis, Purina, and WeatherBeeta rescues are more equipped to help support horses that are found in rescue situations.

Irvin lichtenstein, coordinator for the rescue, said “The rescues primary goal is to keep horses out of bad situations to begin with. Through education about safe trail riding, property maintenance, trailering, etc. the need for equine search and rescue is goes down”.
