Growing up in the city of Denver never stopped Ben from fulfilling his dream of working with horses. Ben first began riding in the Westernaires at age 15 and through the rest of his high school career continued to learn how horse’s think. After graduating high school Ben went to Texas and apprenticed under some great horsemen where he himself learned to become a better horseman. Ben is now training horses and traveling for clinics and continues to work on advancing his horsemanship.
Hope’s Legacy Equine Rescue was founded in 2008 when we took in our first donkey. Since then they have taken in over 450 horses, ponies, mules, and donkeys.
