Boulder, Colo. The R.A.C.E. Fund recognized by A Home for Every Horse at the prestigious Pennsylvania National Horse Show. purpose is to help Thoroughbred racehorses and racetrack pony horses retire when they are no longer able to race or work, and to educate horsemen and the public about horse ownership.

As part of the recognition of the hard and compassionate work done by The R.A.C.E. Fund (http://www.racefund.org/); the sponsors of A Home for Every Horse presented the rescue with some horse-care gifts to take back to the rescue. Including; a new WeatherBeeta blanket and twenty-four tubes of Zoetis Strongid paste.

Marlene, President for the rescue, said “Being able to provide good quality care and a safe haven for horses and watching many of them transform from poor health to optimum weight and contentment after rescue. Horses are so trusting if you just show them kindness and love and provide good nutrition.”

“Products from all of the great sponsors, Purina, Zoetis, WeatherBeeta and Tractor Supply help us take excellent care of the 3-7 horses we have at any given time. The coupons from Purina for free bags of grain will help our recent rescue horses in rehabilitation and getting more weight on them plus the de-wormers from Zoetis are always needed year round. One of our horses will be wearing the new WeatherBeeta’s blanket this winter to stay warm and we will be visiting Tractor Supply soon to use our gift card. We appreciate this extra help so much.”
