Rocky Mountain Horse Rescue: Recognized for Their Passion

Boulder, Colo. Every year, nearly two-dozen equines in need find better homes after being cared or rehabilitated at the Rocky Mountain Horse Rescue, and the non-profit volunteer rescue was recently recognized at the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo for their amazing work.

How does Bini Abbott, head of the rescue, keep on doing it? “It’s darn hard,” Abbott noted, but the difficulties involved have never dampened her passion for the horses, ponies, mules and donkeys she helps. To see some of the rescue’s success stories, visit their website at http://www.rockymountainhorserescue.org.

To honor Abbott and the other volunteers at the Rocky Mountain Horse Rescue, the sponsors for A Home For Every Horse, including WeatherBeeta, Zoetis, Tractor Supply and Purina, recognized the rescue at the Horse Expo and presented them with some horse-care gifts to take back to the rescue, including a new WeatherBeeta blanket, dozens of tubes of Strongid paste and a $50 Tractor Supply Gift Card.
