Are you a stakeholder in an equine rescue, sanctuary or safety-net program? Are you thinking of starting one? Are you an equine welfare advocate? Join us at the only national conference designed for the equine welfare community! The Homes for Horses Coalition is proud to announce its 2018 Conference on September 21-23 in Orlando, FL. Plan now to join experts and colleagues for this unparalleled opportunity to learn and network.

Not only will you meet like-minded people from every corner of the nation, you will learn valuable skills to take your rescue and advocacy work to the next level. With workshops on fundraising, grants, effective digital presence, working with law enforcement, engaging trainers and getting horses adopted, you’ll dig into the topics that really pay-off. Dual tracks will offer variety of those with different interests and experience. “There will be plenty of time for networking and learning from peers which is always a highlight for our attendees, said Cindy Gendron, Manager of the Coalition.

For the first time, The Homes for Horses Coalition is offering an optional day-long, hands-on training clinic on September 23 with HSUS Forever Foundation program trainer, Trevor Carter. Because of the generosity of the Coalition’s sponsoring organizations, the conference is offered at the minimal registration cost of only $35 for members and $85 for non-members, including the day-long clinic! “That’s an amazing price for this caliber and quantity of training and I hope that many take advantage of it,” says Gendron. To have this cumulative expertise in one place at one time is a unique experience, and with equine welfare professionals spread out all over the country, this is the one chance every year for them to come together to share knowledge and community, and recharge for the good fight to save our nation’s equines.” As one previous attendee put it, “All rescues should find a way to come. This is an amazing networking opportunity with people on the same mission.”
