Jessica graduated from CSU in 2003 with a degree in Equine Science and started teaching riding lessons. She’s always had a passion for working with “project horses” and competed in her First Mustang Makeover competition in 2010. Since then, she’s competed in 15 mustang makeovers with a lot of success. Working with mustangs has taught her a ton and has improved her horsemanship.
Currently, Jessica lives near Livermore, CO and trains and gentles mustangs on her property. She teaches horsemanship lessons and really loves helping people with their horses, both on the ground and under saddle.

Axl is a 5 year old sorrel Haflinger cross gelding with a white blaze and two white hind socks from Colorado Horse Rescue Network. He was surrendered during the open shelter day.
