Our rescue would like to introduce you to Biggie and Kate.
This is a twofold story as Kate has been a volunteer for the rescue who works hard for the rescue. Our rescue had pulled Biggie from a Texas kill lot with little time left before he was to ship. Low on funds but our team pulled it together. While Biggie had waited on his partner Roanie to get healthy he went to a trainer that did him wrong in many ways. Once we knew something wasn’t right we immediately got Biggie on a trailer to Pennsylvania. Kate anxiously awaited his arrival at the rescue. Biggie is big in size and personality. His size and strength were a great obstacle to over come. Charging at Kate while in the round pen doing work all after he was fat and healthy. Kate gave him time and patience. He overcame his aggression towards her and became one with her. The bind they created couldn’t be broken. With all the hard work sweat and tears we knew these two were a perfect pair. Kate took the challenge of adopting Biggie and we were so very grateful to be part of pairing them together. Kate has shown such grace elegance and strong will that we invited her to join our board of directors. Our rescue couldn’t do it without the help of people like Kate. Truly a success story for both Biggie and Kate.
