Bling’s photo’s Before, after, and with new family

Last November Illinois Equine Humane Center NFP (ILEHC) rescued a two year-old filly named Bling. When Bling arrived at the ILEHC, she was emaciated and suffered from a debilitating and painful case of rain-rot. With proper nutrition during their formative years being essential for young horses to reach their full growth potential, the ILEHC feared that Bling might never fully recover from the neglect she had endured. However, she made a complete and full recovery. Bling has fully recovered from her early years of neglect and was adopted by a wonderful family in May of 2013.
